Trial Lesson
If you are interested in piano or singing lessons at the HKPVS, please contact Heather to schedule an initial trial lesson. The trial lesson is designed to help you establish if the HKPVS is a good fit for you or your child.
An initial trial lesson typically begins with a chat about your musical background, which musical style/s you are interested in studying, and what you hope to get out of lessons. Heather will help you to establish your particular goals, and will look together with you into ways of achieving these goals.
If you have previous experience, you are welcome to bring a prepared piece of music to perform, in order for Heather to assess your level. Together you then work on a few exercises and activities, which focus on areas you wish to develop.
The trial lesson generally concludes with Heather discussing her teaching approach, and answering any further questions you may have.
